Family Guy Comic Books
Flipping the Script: From animated sitcoms to comic book panels, one gig led to the next.
After landing my first big break as an artist on the hit TV show American Dad, I had the opportunity to step outside my role as a storyboard artist when I was selected as one of several illustrators for the Family Guy comic book series. Similar to TV animation, I'd receive the script, sketch thumbnail comic panels, pitch them to the art director and publisher, and then move on to creating final, clean pencil illustrations.
