Attack on Titan: Race for Survival XR Ride
A fully immersive VR roller coaster that drops fans into anime’s most epic battles.
I led the artistic vision for Attack on Titan: Race for Survival XR Ride, a high-intensity VR roller coaster for Universal Studios Japan. Tasked with transforming a globally beloved 2D anime into a interactive, 360° VR experience at theme park scale, I directed the visual development of both the in-headset media and the physical ride space—ensuring a seamless blend of storytelling and cutting-edge immersion.
The ride launched to critical acclaim, achieving an 86% guest satisfaction score and cementing its place as the world’s first VR roller coaster in 4K resolution.
